"HER Seat at The Table"

Honouring Empowerment and Resilience in Female Leadership

20.png

Vision: To create a dynamic and inclusive community of female leaders who uplift and empower one another, fostering a culture of mutual support, mentorship, and shared success as we navigate the transitions in our personal and professional lives.

Mission: "Her Seat at the Table" is a program dedicated to building a safe space where female hospitality and events industry leaders can connect, grow, and thrive together. We are committed to mentoring, supporting, and paying our successes forward, ensuring that our community remains strong and vibrant, continually inspiring and empowering each other to reach new heights in our careers and lives.

Our Story:

Connie Cay-Santos and Aracelley Delgadillo, prominent female leaders in the events and hospitality industry, had crossed paths multiple times while working on various client projects. Their professional journeys often intersected, allowing them to witness each other's growth and influence within the industry. They admired each other's thought leadership, which was frequently shared on LinkedIn, where both women used their authentic voices to discuss their experiences as female leaders.

In 2024, at the CMEE Experience, an industry event that brought together the brightest minds in the field, Connie and Aracelley finally had a chance to connect in person. Their conversation quickly turned to the challenges they had faced as women navigating their careers in a competitive industry. They realized that while they had succeeded, something was still missing—a dedicated space where women like them could come together to support, collaborate, and uplift one another.

This realization ignited the idea for "Her Seat at the Table." Connie and Aracelley recognized the need for a community where female leaders could share their experiences, mentor one another, and discuss the unique challenges they faced.

They envisioned a program that would go beyond online interactions and create opportunities for in-person engagement.

Connie and Aracelley were not just inspired; they were determined to make their vision a reality. They committed to hosting regular meetups every other month, creating a platform for open discussions on hot topics. Their dedication ensured that female leaders could exchange ideas, provide support, and collaborate on initiatives that would benefit the broader community. Their commitment was a testament to their belief that they could create something extraordinary by coming together. In this space, women in their industry could thrive and empower others to do the same.

And so, "Her Seat at The Table" was born. With their combined experience, passion, and leadership, Connie and Aracelley set out to build a community that would strengthen the bonds among female hospitality and event leaders, ensuring their successes would be shared, celebrated and paid forward to inspire the next generation.
